Where Dreams Take Root: Agriculture Club

At St. Grace Lasford Schools, the Agriculture Club is a vibrant tapestry where plants and animals weave together the story of life. It is not just a club it is a living symphony, where the bleating of goats, the clucking of hens, and the rustling of maize stalks form a chorus of learning.

Agriculture here is the heartbeat of the land. It teaches our pupils that the soil is a mother, the rain a blessing, and the animals our companions in the journey of sustenance.

  • Sukuma wiki, the steadfast green, reminds us that daily nourishment is found in humble leaves.
  • Pumpkin, with its sprawling vines, is a golden lantern of plenty, showing that patience yields abundance.
  • Chickens, scratching the earth, are little teachers of diligence, turning grains into eggs, and effort into reward.

In our club, children learn that agriculture is more than farming, it is culture, science, and art combined. It is the poetry of planting, the rhythm of rearing, and the wisdom of harvesting.

Here, every seed planted is a promise, every animal tended is a lesson, and every harvest is a celebration. The Agriculture Club is where dreams take root, wings take flight, and futures are nurtured.
